This program has allowed me to stretch out a core duo laptop several years! If you have any doubts about the usefulness of this program try the demo out. I’m using this program on a laptop primarily for business communication, (Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Office, light graphics editing). Having this program make sure whatever window I’m working in gets the full CPU attention is a huge time saver. The best maybe lesser known feature is CPU affinity setting. For some reason many large programs like Outlook seem to hang from time but were actually just thrashing the CPU trying to run it’s thread back and forth between the two cores. Being able to force it to always run on CPU2 and get full priority only when I’m using it cleared up the lag. (Basically make sure you have a CPU reserved for your key apps…but only when you are actually working in them)
