Dear Ted

I wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for your help and assistance with the PM2009 issues on my 64bit computer. I appreciate the time, effort and energy you provided, both via email and via telephone, in sorting out the "windows path" problem I encountered together with the tremendous level of support I received.

As a small business owner it is a comforting thought to know that the investment we made for your excellent program has not only provided a refined level of computer processing power, it was also backed with technical support that is second-to-none.

I'd like to wish you well in all your endeavors and I'll continue to recommend your program to my friends and colleagues.

With best wishes.

I am building a new system and I wondered if the 2009 version is  soup yet. I hope all is well for you, thanks again for a great tool. By the way, I was showing off prioritymaster to a friend, and showed him my testimonial. Later that evening we proceeded to fix an audio problem on the new box right before his eyes, using prioritymaster. Thought you might like that.

Thanks,
John R.

Ted,

I have been using Priority Master since 2006 and now I'm using Priority Master 2009. It, along with WinPatrol, make a dramatic difference in the performance of my systems. I have used PM on dozens of systems, ranging from NT, 2000, XP, Vista 32-bit, Vista 64-bit, and Vista 32-bit running under VmWare and also under Parallels on Macs. Without PM, my systems crawl along, and often hang. With PM in place, 130+ processes are running smoothly. PM is one of the best investments on the Windows platforms that I have ever made.

Ted,

I was glad when you supported Vista the place where I work (Bethel Park School District) has deployed it throughout the school district on teachers unit. I can honestly say that this fixes some frustration for my machine at home. And that "I won't do windows without it." Your utility is so important that everyone should hear about it and purchase it as a must have utility. It is on my must have list of must have utilities to be sure for all my machines at home.

Hi,

You are welcome to use me as a reference, and I am a real person with nothing up my sleeve. I am honored that you would ask. I cut my teeth on vaxen and such, and have a special appreciation not only for a way to make our monsters perform to satisfaction, but also that you had something to do with VMS and OS2, which then led into NT and by now XP. You are well positioned to write system internals in my opinion. I use Priority Master to accommodate real time (audio for example) along side things like crawlers (that index files) which eat CPU time if they can get it. A wonderful product, I look forward to playing with the newest incarnation, and I think it very generous of you to update the product and upgrade the license gratis on what is a worthy product not in need of apology.

Thanks,
John

Hello Ted,

I run alot of programs at times, frequently all at the same time. Big stuff like Flight Simulator X along with GoogleWorld, and of course in the background a viral checker is running all the time. Along with that, sometimes I need to get into the Web to look something up.

Priority Master has been an enormous benefit to all that I do with my machine keeping me out of trouble probably more times than I even realize.

Thanks again for getting the new version to me so quickly.

HI,

I have had a chance to play a bit and thought one observation might be useful for others.   All I wanted was control of specific programs so I turned off DEFENDER modes and began adding .EXEs to selected LISTs. Virus file scanner to IDLE, Macro interpreter to High...etc. Even with PM using only 1% or 2% of CPU cycles some programs exhibited undesirable effects. The programs with problems were mostly legacy graphics software (XP COMMAND window stuff) and timing dependent programs which were not truly integrated with windows.

I got rid of all undesirable effects so far by giving each problem .EXE the same (HIGH) priority PM2008 has. Everything seems to be running smoothly now. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Ted,

I have just paid for a copy of Priority Master through BMT Micro. I was almost as impressed with their service as I am with your program. I had the registration code from them so quickly, I thought they must be using Priority Master on their computer, :)

I had a timing problem with an old program I like and thought Priority Master might be of help. Well, it did help a little, but I was more impressed with how much more responsive my new computer is now.

Frankly I was a bit disappointed with the speed of the Intel 4 core CPU until I used your program. Now everything happens as I watch. I have told several of my friends and expect a few of them will investigate for themselves.

All the best and thanks again for a great program. I wouldn't want to be without it.

Hi Ted,

Looking forward to checking out this new version. Hopefully it will eliminate the problem I've been having with PM2006 where I have to load it, terminate it, then load it again to get it to work correctly. Even with that minor problem, I consider Priority Master to be an indispensable addition to Windows XP. Glad to see that you are still around. I hope PM sales are brisk, you certainly deserve to be rewarded for such a fine utility.

I've been using Priority Master since the OS/2 v2.1 days, and when one became available for the Windows platform, I began using it there too. For such a small price you get a much more responsive machine. The automatic Full-Time Defender mode is great and I would not think of burning DVD's or watching movies without Priority Master.

Hopefully, one day this will run as a service and there will be a PM tab to set priorities on the properties page of a shortcut or executable, so it would appear more integrated with Windows.

From the 2006 version I appreciate the automatic full time defender option and now I am very impressed form the possibility to manage the tasks with a right click on a single program of the list, set permanently the desired priority etc, etc: congratulations ! it's very beautiful also the design and the new "skin". Thanks for a wonderful product

"Are you get sick of buying a new machine every 1 to 3 years? I say that you current machine is 4 to 20 times faster than what you need. I say that Priority Master 2008 in default install will give you more power to run all of the background programs you want to run and STILL have fast overall system responses.

DON'T BE A TOTAL MORON. TRY THE FREE DEMO RIGHT NOW. IT NEVER TIMES OUT. IT JUST DOES NOT SAVE THE USER OPTIONS AND WON'T RUN OVER MIDNIGHT. IN NORMAL USE, IT IS ALL THAT YOU NEED TO GET MEGA-POWER OUT OF YOUR MACHINE.

Install it. Run all of your antivirus software, disk defragmentation, spyware cleaners, yahoo messenger, cam, voice and you name it. Just try to
overload your machine now. Go ahead try. Bring it to it's knees if you can. Better yet, try it on your old machine!"

Testimonial on 2/5/07 (Asked if it worked in Vista)

Hello Ted.. for the most part yes, it installed fine and ran fine.. but when I went to exit out of the program, I did receive some errors about some .dll files.. however, I fixed this by right clicking on the Priority Master icon and selecting properties, then the "Compatibility" tab, and then selecting the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and I then selected "Windows XP SP2" .. and now it runs perfectly.. so whatever the issue was before, it's fixed by doing that.. and I'm sure it would be just a minor adjustment to make it Vista compatible.

As for your sales of Priority Master.. I post good things about it in forums I visit.. I believe it probably doesn't do well though, because alot of people don't understand how Priorities in Windows works in the first place.. but I do, and I know what happens when adjusting a program to a higher priority, basically more hardware resources are dedicated to that program... It does me well and I like it.. but some maybe skeptical of it just for the simple fact they don't understand what it's doing.

I use it for my PC games mostly, and I also using it for compression software and CD/DVD burning software, as well as video playback applications too. Kelly I.

I just installed the new version today and took a closer look to all its features. It really is much  better than the 2006 version. Especially I like that you have now more different priorities to chose (e.g. above normal was missing in the old version, next higher step from normal was High).

I like the right click menu from like a desktop icon or in the windows explorer to add   files/programs to a certain priority group." Matt M.

After installing Priority Master 2007 on my computer the change in speed and performance was quite apparent. This change was most noticeable in two areas. A significant improvement of Internet capabilities and the time required to make CD's and DVD's. All web pages load substantially faster. This was amazing considering I'm using a dial up connection. Making CD's and DVD's is more time consuming than I particularly like. The time saving improvements of Priority Master is a huge asset and greatly appreciated. I have installed Priority Master on all my computers. In closing I must say, "I'm amazed that this operating system doesn't come pre-installed on all PCs." Keep up the good work! B.W.

I'm a PC gamer and have always knew about the benefits of using higher priorities.. I used to use programs like "WinLauncher XP" for setting priorities in my games to "high" or "above normal" .. WinLauncher was buggy sometimes though and the author never finished, it stayed @ the beta stage. Then I was searching the web and ran across your program, at the time you didn't have a demo available and I emailed you about having a "trial version" available.. a couple of weeks later I saw one and tried it.. and I feel in love with Priority Master. I do recommend it to people in Forums to use for gaming applications.. it really helps my games run smoother.. and now that you sell it for $6.95 that should go over well with them, since alot of them are young kids that don't have jobs.

I don't buy much software.. so if I purchased your program, you gotta know that I really like it and think it's work it.. I see others make programs similar to yours, but none as in-depth or with your features.. plus they forget one thing, to raise the priority of the foreground program, which helps.

I will write ya a testimonial tomorrow, I'm fix'n to go into work now.. like I said though, it will have to do with "PC Gaming" .. but appealing to gamers can be a "good thing" .. they like anything that gives them anytype of advantage

Pros: Makes your pc feel much more powerful than it is.

You can run cpu intensive programs (spyware scanners, audio encoder/converters etc)and your pc and any other programs you want to use will run as fast as if it wasn't doing anything at all, even when your cpu is maxed out at 100%!

Fast, personal tech support from the author of the program.

don't let the low review average mislead you.6 reviews,4 are 5 stars,1 is only 1 star because it used to have a crippled demo, but it doesn't now, and 1 1 star review from someone that probably doesn't understand that this is about multitasking more efficiently not actually speeding up your pc.

Cons: it's easy to misread the programs webpage and think your computer is going to run programs faster. it's not, nor does it really claim to speed up individual programs. multitasking is where you'll feel the difference. your COMPUTER as a whole will never feel bogged down.

A useful program, easily worth the ten bucks

08-Mar-2006 06:43:51 PM
Reviewer: mquinn

Pros: This product does do what it says it does. I don't know about looking at "idle" time, but I do know that it allows CDs and DVDs to be written without underruns by putting them in the RealTime process, and that it can put compute-intensive programs into the idle task automatically, and that I can add programs like Zoomplayer (for playing videos) into the "high-priority" list to reduce stuttering when other things are going on in the box (if only Windows had priority inheritance on it's I/O processes life would be sweet - unfortunately it doesn't, so low priority, disk-intensive processes still can cause problems).

Now it's true you can do all of this with the windows task manager. The difference is that this program does it for you automatically when the program is run. It also has other niceties like the ability to remember all of the processes' priorities and put them all into the idle priority - handy for when things get out of hand.

Now, if you tend to only run 1 thing at a time, I would have to say this program won't help you out, but if you do video encoding, reading email, browsing the web, burning DVD's, running QuickPar to validate downloads, and running WinRar to unpack downloads - and try to do many of these at the same time, this program makes life much, much easier.

And, the author gives you a 7-day trial to see if it works for you. Then, you can decide if it's worth ten bucks to you.

Cons: UI isn't always as intuitive as it could be.

It's worth the money!

Pros: This program helped me identify and eliminate two problems that were making my Tablet PC hang.

I simply moved Firefox and my WiFi connection utility to "high" priority.

You can try to do some of this in the Task Manager or with a freeware program like Sysinternals.com's Process Explorer.

While Process Explorer is a good way to examine your system's processes in realtime, it isn't designed for system tweaking as Priority Master is.

Priority Master allows you do maintain your priority settings between sessions, as well as automatically move nuisance processes like update schedulers to "idle" status.

It's also easy to undo your changes within this program, which is a major advantage when compared to Process Explorer and registry edits.

Cons: The default skin makes the interface seem a bit cluttered.

Pros: INCREASED SPEED OF IMPORTANT PROGRAMS AS SOON AS INSTALLED AND CUT DOWN HANG UPS

Cons: INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADVANCED OPERATION VERY UNCLEAR AND DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND (MAYBE ONLY FOR NON PROGRAMERS)

Very useful and great value for money.

Pros: Provides, amongst other things, a very quick and easy way to set/change program priorities.

OK, Windows Task Manager can do some of what Priority Master can do but with Priority Master the priority settings you choose are saved and reloaded when you reboot.

This program is outstanding value for money and will even prove useful on high end machines.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Extremely useful with older systems

Reviewer: jcharlesworth

Pros: I have used this program for the past 3 years on my Pentium 1200. It has definitely stretched the usable lifetime of my system. Before Priority Master, I could not reliably record scheduled TV shows using my ATI All-in-Wonder card without dropping 10-20% of frames--because ATI's scheduler always launched the recorder with default priority (Normal).

Now, I have Priority Master set to automatically bump ATI's TV recording app up to High priority *automatically* whenever it runs. No more lost frames. No more hassle. Works great when for auto-prioritizing other apps as "Low Priority" automatically -- my email, calendar, ftp client, DVD renderer -- so they do not interfere with whatever I'm trying to run in the foreground.

Cons: Interface took some getting used to, but once it was set up, I could just forget about it. It just works.

Indispensable

Reviewer: logies

Pros: My heavily used PC (Win XP Professional with a Thinsoft Terminalserver, used by 3 people at the same time) would not run without this program which priorities all programs once and for ever. For example some indexing software, which indexes the 300,000 Emails or so in my Eudora. A process nobody is feeling, because Priority Master (PM) puts it in the lowest priority. Somebody wrote, that you can do all this with the task manager. Of course you can do this manually, but who wants to do this each time a program is started with the 50 or so programs used here on the PC by different people? And some programs use the PC so heavily directly after starting them that you even don't have a change to get a task manager windows to change priority manually. Another big advantage with PM is, that the active window always automatically gets the highest priority, even if it has a low priority in the background. This guarantees smoothly working. The program has more functions, but I have forgotten them. I installed it months ago and it works without any interventions necessary since then.

Cons: The interface is a bit clumsy, but a power user will understand the program within 15 minutes and won't live without it afterwards.

I've just been playing with PM 2006 (I've really been looking forward to it), and you've put in some excellent improvements and new features:
I just tried the full-time defender, with full priority scanning switched on. Wow! An absolutely brilliant feature. This feature on its own makes PM 2006 worth having. Nice work!
- The way that Include Invisible Windows can now be set from any screen is brilliant.
- The new feature to Include NonWindowed Processes is very useful for finding processes that are working away quietly in the background.
- The Program Detect Logic is excellent, and very useful. Being able to switch it off when a New Program warning pops up is a great idea.

I truly hope you have success with PM 2006, it seriously is an excellent piece of software.

On my terminal server from Thinsoft, based on Windows XP, up to 4 people are working at the same time. "Lookout", an add-on for searching "Outlook", and the "Yahoo Desktop Search" are doing indexing in the background frequently. With PM 2005 the process became smoother, since I put almost all programs (including Outlook) in the "idle group". A dramatic effect PM 2005 had on another program (the stock module of the German edition of "Quicken 2002", a 16bit application) which brings the PC (PIV 3 GHz, 1 GB RAM) almost to a halt in normal priority when updating the 80000 stocks or so (single file for each stock which has to be decompressed, changed, compressed again - takes hours). Before PM 2005 I could run the program only at the weekend and had to walk away till it finished. With the help of PM (idle priority) the PC still feels slower but remains quite usable (thanks!).

Priority Master 2005 Testimonials:

Testimonial on 8/21/05:

"I use priority master 2005 , latest version, with digital video archive, and streaming video with VLAN. The results are that the video works, streaming over a wireless connection with your software setting both programs' priority as high. But when I actually exit the program, or don't use it at all, and manually set both programs to a high priority, it works perfectly without the choppiness. So for me, your program is a good concept but in practice it is of no use/value because of the choppiness and my ability to set the priority of both prgs manually to high and seeing them both work perfectly."

Support responded: You seem to indicate that the overhead associated with running the Priority Master 2005 interferes with the normal operations of the two programs. Doubtful, but possible if the machine is just barely able to do the job and about 3% additional overhead causes the frames to miss. Try using the "M" on the toolbar and uncheck the "Show Invisible Windows" box. That will reduce the priority scans to only the programs on the Task List.

What I meant to say was the dvarchive prg and vlan prg work well when the priorities are set to high and my goal was not to have to set the priorities each and every time at bootup. I wanted your prg to do this for me. Manually set, the prgs work well (stream video perfectly wirelessly) and with your product the priorities were set high but the video was choppy. My thought was I could not use the prg. However, thank you for your suggestion to uncheck the box because
NOW EVERYTHING IS JUST PEACHY. The video streams perfectly. The program is setting the priorities to high. Thank you thank you thank you.

Spectacular testimonial on 4/23/05

Price/performance wise Priority Master 2005 is a great product. A very stable program that works as advertised. Given some understanding of the processes running on an Windows XP PC, an appropriate priority 'profile' can be established for the set of running processes, that will be automatically applied by Priority Master as the PC boots. Once the CPU gets busy and is doing significant work, the OS scheduler can utilize the set priorities to more intelligently schedule processes to be run. The net affect is the machine that is considerable more responsive then it would be otherwise. After several months of using Priority master, as far as I am concerned whether or not to use PM is a no brainer, its a must have utility.

Hi Ted,

Thanks very much for the update.

I noticed your price is now $9.95 and I would like to comment on that if you don't mind.
I have Auto Pilot XO from Sunbelt and it costs $29.95 and it isn't one tenth as fast as Priority Master 5
I don't agree with your price because the product really does make a huge difference and users should pay for the good work put into this program.

Also, I noticed many improvements in the 5.0 version which make it much more user friendly and less confusing especially with the install and uninstall as well as the placing of proper shortcuts in the proper menus and loading automatically without having to tick any boxes.
I used to have problems trying to get previous versions installed correctly as well as to automatically start but with version 5 I just installed it and then it ran perfectly and it's really speeding up my PC.

Thanks for your time but I would at least make it as much as Auto Pilot XP as it's ten times as good. Feel free to publish any part of this and correct any spelling errors.

Thank you so much for coming up with this great program. The day before I purchased the program, much of it was wasted on trying to get a DVD burned using professional DVD burning software. Hours later and many ruined DVD s later, I found this program. After installing and with a few simple steps, the DVD burned the first time! As an audio-visual professional, time is money. There is no doubt that this program will actually make me money in the productivity and materials aspects of my business. Thanks Again!

Victor Bruce

Added it (Goldmine) to the CD/DVD Burner list and it keeps it at RealTime 24 now(note: this is the MAX-PROTECT Package made for CD/DVD burning, but works with any program). Works great. This a great program, I ran a benchmark on Goldmine using it, 35% increase in record scans! That's awesome considering running dBase with over a dozen different databases with some over 100k records. The big test will be when I run maintenance tonight using it. That always requires a lot out of this machine but I think it will handle it a lot better now. Thanks for the awesome program! This program is great, if everyone knew how well it works I'm sure they would spend the $11 on it. It will save me more then that in less then an hour!

Just wanted to drop you a line on this program since I have had more time to run it. This program has been flawless. It's amazing how this thing runs now. The foreground boost is awesome and I'm really impressed at how much better Goldmine runs since I set it at a priority of 24. The system has been very stable and fast. Thank you again!   Tom Hill, OK 2/29/04

OK. A person running 4 DOS programs on a P4 2.4 GHz said that the machine was toasted. One copy of the program used 80% of the CPU and 4 of them running rendered the machine unusable. By adding the name of the executable into the Idle list, all programs were instantly set to idle. The Foreground Boost (which is the default) made the one copy being worked on very responsive. Customer did not send in a testimonial, so I am including it here.   Ted Waldron III

Can't wait to get v4 running -- v3 was the best 20 buck "upgrade" I've spent on my Celeron 1200 system.

It seems to be working very well, and the ability to use foreground boost again is awesome (by excluding some of the pigs....).  Definitely using 4.0 -

Priority Master III Testimonials:

Priority Master III

My main concern with prioritizing is that I do a lot of video stuff and netnews downloading, but do other things in the foreground. Using Priority Master III, I find I usually get a smoother work flow.

One of the things that annoys me about MS multitasking is that it's not very responsive switching from one thing to another - my feeling is that (mostly) the keyboard/mouse focus should be the highest priority thing in the system so that it's response to me. PM helps that quite a bit.

Priority Master really does deliver—Divx encoding was really making my Pentium4 crawl, and Windows wouldn’t let me lower the process priority.

With Priority Master, now I can set video encoding to Idle status, burn DVD's and run a Web browser quickly, and get smooth response from my ObjectDock taskbar by setting all of their priorities independently…this program is awesome!

Before installing PM3 I could burn CD's at 16X, usually, if I was careful about what else was running. I just finished burning one at 24X while Using Norton to scan my system, AND running a "system tools" defrag on Windows XP. PM3 is something else.

I'm impressed. I was hoping for a performance improvement during a virus check - and Priority Master delivered. The very pleasant surprise was all the other normal situations with a radical improvement. A hot sync and back-up of my PDA and it's memory stick took over 3 minutes before I had Priority Master - now it's less than 30 seconds!

I can't believe people won't tell you tell you how wonderful this product is! Home PC builders, unlike ""name"" companies, don't have the luxury of matching/patching components in their system with proprietary modifications. My case: I just built a ""better"" WinXp system to replace a 4 year old Win98 popular store-bought box. Faster, better parts, more of everything BUT DVD's stuttered no matter what I did (short of manually changing the process priority EACH time I used a DVD player!!) YOURS is the ONLY product a sane person would want to use, if just for this problem alone; with Priority Master running I'm watching movies AND on-line AND running 10 other programs... the film is smooth-as-glass. So I can only imagine what other great uses I'll put this to: CD-Burning, of course, but I'm sure I'll find more. And for that I've a suggestion: you need a ""User Forum"" so ideas/hints can be passed about and from which you can get for ideas for your next version.

I'm not a programming whiz but PMIII makes everything on my computer work faster. The amazing part is that it works better than Windows XP's generic prioritizing and my system seems more stable.

I love running many tasks in the background on my system such as fax receiving, anti virus protection, messenger, diagnostic software, etc. It used to take at least 2 full minutes to individually confirm and close all my tasks before I could even attempt to try and burn a CD on my old 4X CDR (without burn-proof technology). Now with Priority Master III I do not need to close any of my programs or background tasks and I was even was playing a networked 3D game the other night while I was successfully burning CD's in the background. Excellent software guys, it's what I have been waiting for! Thank you.

I've just been checking PM out with 3D games. 3D games are the rage nowadays but unless the processor can give maximum resources to these games then many problems can arise.

Firstly the graphics resolution can be impaired due to the processor continually being challenged for resources by background applications and being unable to implement instructions quick enough. Next, game slow downs and stalling. There can also be tearing of images and flashing on the game screen when for instance you are playing online and other programs need to access computer resources.

I had the 3D game Black & White playing with NINE background applications. PC-Cillin 2003, internet connection on, Pest Patrol, TDS 3, WormGuard, Download Accelerator Plus, Zero Tracks, Stealth Disk, Priority Master III and I was AMAZED! Not only didn't I have to turn these applications off but the graphics were spectacular and crystal clear, better than had been previously. The first thing that happened when I clicked to start the game was a truly amazing experience. I got a shock as I felt the trees in the game almost reach out and hit me. It just surprised me. It took a few minutes to adjust because the game was never this spectacular and with at least 9 background applications running!

As I get a bit more experience using Priority Master I find that it can do wonders.

I've got a crimson colored PM icon which means that I haven't yet reached Green. I have tried many things to improve the performance of my 433MHZ processor but this is brilliant. Every gamer should have this because it can give his game the most enjoyable and rich experience by using the computer's resources to it's fullest.

I'm only just learning about this but I love it and if I can get it up and running so quickly (my 1st day) then it is very easy to use once you learn the basics.

Program REALLY INCREASES SPEED SUBSTANTIALLY. Best $19.95 I've ever spent on the internet.

Earlier this afternoon I purchased and installed Priority Master on my PC. I am absolutely STUNNED by the increases in speed and stability! I literally feel as if someone's given me a brand new computer.

I run Windows XP Pro on a 1900 Athlon with 1 GB DDR Memory...so I never dreamed I'd have problems. But up until today, that's exactly what I've had! Some of the applications I run are serious resource HOGS! I was getting lock-ups, frozen apps and major S L O W downs every time I ran them. I say "was" because since installing Priority Master, my applications are simply flying -- and they're STABLE to! The difference has been night vs. day. In fact, I can even run these "hogs" simultaneously now - amazing.

Priority Master is a steal at this price -- but don't buy it unless you're prepared to see your computer go into HYPERDRIVE!

PS Great product, my 400Mhz machine runs great, I thought about upgrading it because I was getting used to my 1.2Ghz machine, but I see no reason now thanks to your Priority Master III program!

Please note: Mr Karenko has 125 programs on the Task Bar. And the system tray icon was modified to change colors based on the Class Analysis as per his suggestion.

The benefit of PM3 is twofold. First, your foreground option lets the program you are currently using (I.E. the one that has your attention) run temporarily at a higher system priority. Second, your automatic settings upon startup, let me identify which tools/programs I use frequently or infrequently and lets me decide which ones should get more or less cycles. What is described above is the ultimate. PM3 starts, adjusts or runs programs in its list BUT it now picks up any new tasks started and adjusts them automatically. Your algorithms for managing the CPU cycles overrides Redmond's politically correct solution. Yes, users could dig themselves into a hole by mis-managing priorities and overloading one or the other. You already use colors to help identify this. Make your system tray icon change colors too. Visually, you're then telling me via the icon that I'm getting myself into trouble or if  everything is cool.

Hi. I evaluate all kinds of software on multiple platforms on my web site at http://www.macarlo.com. Priority Master III got the highest rating of 5 butterflies. While evaluating WAPT 2.0, a program from Novosoft, Priority Master III automatically prioritized it as "High 13" and the program simply runs great. I wrote about this improvement in my review on WAPT 2.0 and in other reviews that I'm are publishing here (all of them are invoked in the main-pages of my website).

As a webmaster of a fairly large web site, I spend a lot of time editing my web pages. My principal reason for using Priority Master III is that the web editor in design mode can open 70 pages at the same time. If Priority Master III is not used, the maximum number of opened pages that the editor can edit and get quick responses is only 30.

Also, this improves other programs like Netscape 8.0, Adobe Photoshop, Namo Web Editor and more, much more. Priority Master III is really a great improvement for all applications used by webmasters and more!

Been using PM 3.3.3 for a few weeks now, since you resent it to me. Thought I would let you know it looks REALLY good. I use it in the Automatic mode and it seems to grab my programs as they launch and change their priorities  without upsetting them.

I didn't really expect to see any difference in CD burning - I don't do a lot of that, but I did move some files to CD the other day and it is amazing how fast things can move along when you give the software as much CPU cycles as it wants. (Nero 5.5.10.50)

Not sure how you got to the guts of Windows and wrestled authority away from their multitasker. Nice job!
